Education and training are a huge part of what DICON provides our hospitals. Collectively, our Liaison Infection Preventionists have trained 20+ new Infection Preventionists over the years. This is done by a mixture of one-on-one training and professional mentoring and through our formal training courses.
Our Novice IP Course was custom designed by our Liaison Infection Preventionists and is the perfect complement to state and local training requirements.
For those who are more established in their infection prevention training, we have our Online Modules. Aside from training specifically for IPs, these modules offer training for other specialties such as nursing staff, environmental services, physicians and allied health professionals, and operating room staff.
